I’ve been quiet of late as I have had to get down to some dirty work to pay bills and the like. Not very exciting I know but has to be done.

As part of the mundane, I was also in the process of submitting an application for a development grant for a project that I have in mind and in doing so, found these images I did ages ago. All three are 100% 3D, no photography was used either in the comps themselves or as compositional reference. I used to love doing this sort of full on 3D illustration work, and still do if I get the chance, as I feel that even though software these days is so good it can make any monkey look good, it does not replace the ideas or creative image required to do a true illustration (not saying that these have that factor mind you).
